Hugh Jackman, Sutton Foster sing duet of A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman
The pair were captured giggling and holding hands, and sealed the deal with a kiss.
Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster have dazzled audiences by singing a duet, which has been met with a mixed response.
The high-profile Broadway duo performed on night two of a three-night retreat hosted by 51-year-old Foster at Canyon Ranch’s Lenox resort.
They were accompanied by the Boston Pops Orchestra.

“What do you want to do?” the pair asked in unison.
Jackman then revealed what the couple had planned for the audience.
“Okay, so, we’re going to sing something for you that we have sung together before many years ago, before The Music Man,” he said.
He played a quick game of trivia with the attendees to see if they could guess what song it might be, which someone in the front row was clever enough to figure out.
The couple sang a rendition of A Million Dreams from Jackman’s 2017 film The Greatest Showman.
Jackman said that he and Foster had sung the song as part of a workshop ahead of the film’s production, which he said took eight years to develop.
During the song, the pair held hands, looked into each others eyes, and gleamed.
They shared a kiss at the end, which was met with cheers from the audience.
“Sutton Foster, ladies and gentlemen,” Jackman said, as she replied, “Hugh Jackman”.
Footage of the duet has been shared on social media and has been met with mixed responses.
“It’s not easy to watch!!! He left his wife of 27 years, whom stood by him and supported his career. When she got she got older, her traded her in,” wrote one commenter.
Another added: “Both off key. Saw his show last summer in NYC and he was great. This performance is not. Michelle Williams sang this so much better.”
However, some netizens stood by the couple and called them “too cute” and said they were “soooooo sweet together”.
“I honestly love them together. Why can’t people just be happy for them? Joyous couple,” one commenter suggested.
The high-profile couple first went public with their relationship in 2025 and were met with scrutiny, having known each other for 24 years.
The pair met in 2002 when Jackman visited Foster backstage after her Tony-winning performance in the Broadway production Thoroughly Modern Millie.
They stayed friends for years and co-starred in the Broadway revival of The Music Man in 2023, which was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Their relationship eventually turned romantic, and they were spotted holding hands in public in January 2025.
Jackman split from his wife of 27 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, in September 2023 before officially finalising their divorce in June 2025.
At the retreat, Leading Women: A Sutton Foster Retreat, 25 guests took part in “movement, mindfulness and self-expression” activities while enjoying personal time with the Broadway star to “learn how to become the leading lady in your life”.
Tickets to the sold-out event reportedly cost cost $A3270 per person.
The all-inclusive experience covered accommodation, meals, and a curated itinerary of wellness and creative activities, including a group hike, trivia night, dance cardio class, empowerment rituals, moments of reflection, and a fire ceremony.
