James Packer: Billionaire celebrates third marriage to NYC socialite and model Kylie Lim

Australian billionaire James Packer has married fiancee Kylie Lim in an intimate ceremony on an Italian island this week, marking the businessman’s third marriage.

The 58-year-old Packer celebrated his nuptials to New York socialite Lim on the western Italian island of Sardinia in front of a small wedding party, according to news.com.au.

Packer has previously paid tribute to Lim for helping him recuperate from his highly publicised breakup from US singer Mariah Carey after the pair were introduced by mutual friends in 2017.

The billionaire described himself as “lucky” after Lim, who was born in Canada, supported him during his treatment for depression and bipolar disorder in 2018, and after he stepped down from the Crown Resorts board in 2019.

“Kylie is a good person, a really good partner,” Packer said.

The pair temporarily split in 2020, but rekindled their relationship after Packer’s relationship with model Renee Blythwood ended in 2025, and announced their engagement earlier in 2026.

Packer and Lim quickly began planning their marriage, which was scheduled during the billionaire’s annual Mediterranean holiday.

The union is Packer’s third marriage, having previously been married to Jodhi Meares — he shares three children with second wife Erica Packer (nee Baxter).

The marriage is believed to be Lim’s first — the former model has a low public profile, and is believed to be 46 years old.

The pair were reportedly spotted at Packer’s niece Francesca Barham’s wedding in Mallorca, Spain, a week before their own ceremony.

Packer’s ex-wife Erica, their three children, and Erica’s new partner Sebastrien Aguettant were also in attendance.

Packer and Lim then took the billionaire’s 107m super yacht from the Spanish island to Sardinia, where it is now moored.
