Jules Neale has revealed she is looking for her forever home in Perth several months after her high-profile split from Brisbane Lions player Lachie Neale.

Jules returned home to Perth in January after she moved over to Queensland for Lachie’s football career more than seven years ago.

She is living in WA with her two children, Piper, 4, and Freddie, 1, following the former couple’s relationship breakdown caused by allegations that Lachie was involved in an affair with Jules’ friend Tess Crosley.

While in Sydney for Australian Fashion Week, which kicked off on Monday, Jules revealed she is on the hunt for a new home in Perth.

“It’s the beginning of our next chapter,” she told the Herald Sun.

“We’re still living with my parents at the moment which has been really nice. They’re a huge support, and so helpful with the kids, letting me do things like this.

“Their support means everything.”

Taking residence at her parents’ place means she doesn’t miss family milestones anymore.

“We had a nice Mother’s Day at home with my parents and all my brothers and their wives and the kids together,” she told the publication.

“It’s so nice to be close to them again and seeing the cousins grow up together. I’ve missed all the births and baby showers, but here now for the birthdays and everything to come, so it’s special.”

It comes after the Neale’s sold their five-bedroom family home in Brisbane at auction for $3.2 million earlier this year.

They bought the spacious two-storey home in the affluent suburb of Seven Hills for $2.43m during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The auction was held in the living room, away from prying cameras.

Swirling speculation about the Neale’s marriage in December prompted Jules to confirm they had split.

“I want to make it very clear that I am not ‘working through’ anything,” she said in an Instagram statement.

“I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way. All I can do now is to to heal and do what’s best for my children.”

In early January, Lachie, a two-time Brownlow medallist, also confirmed the separation and stood down as the Lions co-captain.
