Justin Timberlake video: Wife Jessica Biel ‘disappointed’ about release of DUI arrest footage
‘It obviously doesn’t portray him in the best light.’
Jessica Biel has faced “challenging moments” following the release of husband Justin Timberlake’s arrest footage, as the resurfaced video puts the couple back under scrutiny.
Police bodycam footage from Timberlake’s 2024 drink-driving arrest was made public on March 20, despite previous efforts to keep it private.
A source close to the couple said the renewed attention has taken a toll.

Biel is said to be happiest focusing on her family and work, but the release of the footage has sparked frustration behind the scenes.
“There’s a reason they pushed back on the footage being released,” the source added. “It obviously doesn’t portray him in the best light.”
The situation has been described as “stressful,” with Biel keen to move on, even as she continues to stand by her husband.
“She’s supportive of Justin, but she’s also not afraid to express when she’s disappointed in certain decisions. This was one of those moments.”

The 45-year-old was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York, after leaving a hotel on June 18, 2024. He was initially charged with driving while intoxicated and two traffic violations, before later agreeing to a plea deal on a lesser offence.
His lawyer has maintained the singer was “not intoxicated” at the time.
The footage captures several awkward exchanges, including when Timberlake attempted to explain his job to officers, saying: “I’m on a world tour. It’s hard to explain... umm... I’m Justin Timberlake,” before an officer can be heard asking “You’re Justin Timberlake?”
During field sobriety testing, where he was told to walk in a straight line while counting, he could also be heard saying, “These are, like, hard tests,” before later adding, “My heart’s racing.”
Timberlake had previously attempted to block the footage’s release, arguing it would cause “severe and irreparable harm” to his reputation and lead to “public ridicule and harassment.”
The footage was ultimately released following a settlement with authorities, with an agreement that it “does not constitute an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.”
Timberlake jokes about being ‘white’
The video also shows Timberlake’s time in custody, where he was held in a cell overnight.
At one point, he joked about police paperwork listing his race, saying: “White? I’m just kidding. I’m just kidding, man,” while laughing.
He later appeared surprised he would be kept in a cell until morning, asking if he would be there “all night?” before telling officers: “Yo, you guys are wild, man.”
Elsewhere, he pushed back on his treatment, saying: “You boys [are] treating me like I’m a criminal,” and declining to take a post-arrest chemical test.
He also told officers he “had one martini” before getting behind the wheel, later insisting: “I had one martini and I followed my f...ing friends home and I appreciate you boys for doing your job.”
Timberlake and Biel, who married in 2012, share two children.
