Kiss Kiss (XX) My Arse: Holly Valance speaks out after Pauline Hanson collaboration pulled from Apple Music

Holly Valance has broken her silence just a day after her Kiss Kiss (XX) My Arse collaboration with Pauline Hanson was pulled from Apple Music.
The song, which has copped a huge amount of criticism for being transphobic and attacking vulnerable minority communities, reached the number 1 spot on the Australian Apple chart after its release on Monday.
It gathered steam for making fun of “woke” culture, promoting Ms Hanson’s new controversial film A Super Progressive Movie.

“It kind of helps you in the end, and they don’t realise that because there’s not enough brain cells between them, but it’s helping me enormously, so thank you so much”, she told the hosts.
Valance added that while the song’s removal was a small matter in the “scheme of important things”, it formed part of a broader conversation about free speech.
“You’ve got to see the bigger picture, and just because this week might not be something you like the sound of, you want it cancelled, but wait till it does affect something that you really believe in, and it’s taken away from you,” she said.
“I think if you’re a real libertarian, free speech should be at the top of your priorities, even if it’s with something you don’t like.”
Valance wrote the song especially for Senator Hanson’s movie, which follows four progressive activists whose rainbow malfunctions, sending them into a world governed by Prime Minister Hanson.
“MWAH You will respect my pronouns. Not all ladies have ovaries, some have a penis. They say that I’m a he but I’m a she, Coz I gotta V and not a D,” the lyrics say.
“And I don’t care what people say: I’ll never be a him, a them or they. Cause I’m a real biological woman. A real biological woman.
“Fave song – from the river to the sea, no job but I bleed LGBT… Q+, ya bigot. Cause I’m a real diabolical lefty.”
The song is a reworked version of Valance’s 2002 hit Kiss Kiss.
