Lachie Neale: Brisbane Lion turned Collingwood Magpie teases new ink after third premiership triumph
He may have new colours, but the triple premiership-winning Lion has not quite moved on.

Triple AFL premiership player Lachie Neale has teased new Brisbane Lions ink just weeks after jumping ship to join Collingwood.
Neale, 33, appeared in a couple of Instagram stories shared by Ten/Ten Tattoo Studio in Brisbane that depicted the Magpies recruit preparing to update his first premiership tattoo — a Lions emblem above the year “2024”.
The dual Brownlow medallist sat barefoot as tattooist Rhys Sharp measured up stencils of his new ink, looking to slot in years “2025” and “2026” to complete his three-peat of grand final triumphs.

In June this year, Jules shared footage of her experience getting tattoo laser removal of the “L” from her wrist.

The pair famously split in late 2025 after cheating allegations involving Neale and family friend Tess Crosley.
Jules returned to her native WA with her kids shortly afterwards.

Neale’s latest tattoo comes just days after newly retired coach Chris Fagan flaunted fresh ink celebrating the successful three year period, fulfilling a promise he had made to his players.
Fagan’s tattoo — emblazoned on his lower right leg — reads “POUND THE ROCK”, a mantra he had bestowed upon the playing group for years, along with the years “24 25 26”.
Neale played 186 games for Brisbane after 135 at Fremantle.

The father bears several other tattoos, including a couple of swallows on his left upper arm.
“I wasn’t sure where I’d get them on my body, but I’ve wanted to get them for a while,” Neale told Grandstand AFL in 2023.
“It signifies home for me whether that’s my wife and daughter or my family back home in SA.
“Sailors used to get them when they were going out to sea to let their family know they were coming back home so that’s where the idea came from.”
Sporting new ink and new colours, Neale’s Brisbane chapter appears all but over as he joins Collingwood on a three-year deal.
