As the fallout from the AFL’s most talked-about off-field scandal continues, attention has turned to the high-profile family background of Tess Crosley.

While Crosley has been thrust into the spotlight over her alleged involvement in the breakdown of Lachie and Jules Neale’s marriage, it has emerged she is not the first in her family to build a public profile.

Tanika Casar — the younger sister of Tess Crosley — has amassed more than one million followers on TikTok where she posts poetry, history videos and a series with her dad where they sit down and share stories.

Known to fans as “Tani”, Caesar has carved out a successful digital career and is also the founder of a jewellery label, Caesar Archivum.

While Caesar has not publicly commented on her sister’s alleged involvement in the Neale scandal, she has previously spoken openly about the sister’s conservative upbringing in the Mormon church.

In past videos and interviews, Caesar revealed the pair were raised under strict religious expectations including modest dress standards as well as firm rules.

The Daily Mail reports that both sisters stepped away from the church as adults, a decision that was reportedly not easy to make as it went against their family’s traditional values.

Caesar has been unusually quiet on social media in the past month since news broke about the alleged affair.

However, she took to Instagram last night to share her jewellery brand’s Black Friday sale that is believed to have started in November last year.

The family revelation comes after Jules Neale took to social media on Monday night to share some happy snaps, posting a sun-soaked Instagram carousel.

Now based in Perth with her children and family, Jules posted a series of upbeat images showing her smiling in a blue polka-dot bikini and brown cowboy hat, alongside images with friends.

The post was accompanied with a Taylor Swift song, with fans quick to label the song choice as anything but accidental.

Jules offered a simple caption “🫶”, letting the happy snaps — and the lyrics — do the talking.

Song Father Figure, pulled from Taylor Swift’s latest album, features lines centred on confrontation, protection and consequences, prompting followers to interpret the post as a quiet declaration of moving forward.

Lachie Neale is believed to be living in an apartment in Brisbane but Tess Crosley’s whereabouts is unknown.
