Footage of a man smearing poo on a Tesla Cybertruck in an apparent protest has prompted calls for him to be prosecuted “to the fullest extent of the law”.

The gross act, captured by the vehicle’s security cameras, shows the man reaching into his pants and smearing poo on the car door.

Before wiping his hand on the door, he glances around the car park to check if the coast is clear then smears his faecal matter onto the car three more times.

He then retreats, without being approached.

Incensed X users shared their disgust and called for the man to be prosecuted.

“People who carry out violence and vandalism against Tesla need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” one user wrote.

“That’s next level sickness,” another added.

“I’m not gonna lie, there were better ways to do this,” a third said.

The grubby act comes just days after another man was caught carrying out a similar and just as stinky stunt.

A parked Tesla recorded the man lobbing a bag of dog poo at the car as he walked past with his pet in tow.

Both incidents, which occurred in different parts of the United States, appear to be unrelated.

The Tesla company has been the target of attacks since its CEO, Elon Musk, was appointed as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) for Donald Trump.

In more serious acts of protest against Musk, a group of the electric vehicles were firebombed in Las Vegas and in early March seven Tesla charging stations in Boston were set on fire.

Responding to the incidents on X, Musk wrote, “This level of violence is insane and deeply wrong.”

“Tesla just makes electric cars and has done nothing to deserve these evil attacks.

“Terrorism,” he added in another post.
