Martha Kalifatidis: MAFS bride under fire for ‘yelling’ at three-year-old son

Former MAFS bride Martha Kalifatidis has hit out at parenting critics after she posted a video where she allegedly ‘yelled’ in her three-year-old son’s face.

The 38-year-old Martha shares two children — Lucius, three, and five-month-old Sunday — with fiancé Michael Brunelli.

In the video, Martha speaks to the camera while wearing baby Sunday, as Lucius stands beside them on a kitchen stool.

Lucius begins yelling in the direction of his mother and sister, prompting Martha to raise her voice: “Stop screaming in her face! Get off the stool and get out of the kitchen.”

The video divided Martha’s followers in the video’s comments, with some accusing Martha of being too harsh on the three-year-old.

“This is so sad,” one person said.

“This absolutely broke my heart,” another said.

However, many people rushed to Martha’s defence as she juggles raising two young children, including influencer Indy Clinton who pointed out she is likely “in the trenches” of parenthood.

“I get shivers watching this because you couldn’t pay me to go back. The over stimulation from the sounds of the baby, the constant talking, the always needing/wanting something, having a baby strapped to you and one next to you. . . you’re doing amazing,” Indy said.

“Don’t you all act like you don’t lose some patience here and there with a toddler AND a newborn,” another person said.

“In a world full of fakeness, I love how real you are Martha. We’ve all been there whether we admit it or not,” a third said.

Martha took to TikTok to hit back at her parenting critics, with a video captioned “sorry I didn’t realise I was amongst all these perfect parents and scholars.”

“Oh, my God, hi! If it isn’t all the perfect parents on the internet,” she tells the camera alongside fiancé Michael.

“Look at all these perfect parents just sitting on their phones scrolling away. Scrolling and watching and judging.”
