“A decade in the making – these will be their biggest and loudest shows yet,” touring promoter TEG Van Egmond said.

AC/DC has been performing the tour in Europe and North America since May 2024, with the band’s Australian return marking the first time they’ve played at home in 10 years.

Instead of offering multiple days of pre-sale, all tickets will be made available this Thursday to give fans an equal opportunity.

Tickets will go on sale at staggered times for each city.

Popular Australian rock band Amyl and the Sniffers have been announced as the openers.

The tour shares its name with AC/DC’s 2020 album, which scored the band its third #1 debut on the Billboard 200.

For the European leg of the tour in 2024, the band sold 1.7 million tickets in the first few days.

AC/DC played their first show in 1973 at Chequers Nightclub in Sydney.

They last played at home in Melbourne at Marvel Stadium, then called Etihad Stadium, in December 2015 as part of their Rock Or Bust world tour.

The Australian 2025 tour dates are as follows:

  • Melbourne — November 12 at the MCG
  • Sydney — November 21 at Accor Stadium
  • Adelaide — November 30 at Adelaide Street Circuit for the BP Adelaide Grand Final
  • Perth — December 4 at Optus Stadium
  • Brisbane — December 14 at Suncorp Stadium

Tickets start from $130.
