Singer Hilary Duff is returning to Australia in October for the first time in nearly two decades for her Lucky Me tour and demand for tickets is huge.

In fact, the response has been so strong that she has already added another show to her Australian tour schedule, and fans across Australia and hoping more dates are announced.

The new date will take place at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday, October 27. The Live Nation Members pre-sale opens at 1pm on Thursday, February 19, with the general sale for all shows starting Friday, February 20 at 1pm local time.

With this addition, Duff will now perform two nights at Rod Laver Arena. The rest of her Australia and New Zealand tour will also take place in arenas.

Mastercard, Vodafone, Westpac, and Westfield pre-sales are already live, ahead of the general sale on Friday.

For her tour, Duff will be joined by special guest La Roux.

The multi-platinum star confirmed the sprawling run will include four arena shows across Australia, marking a major return to live performance after years away from headline touring.

“I’M GOING ON A WORLD TOUR!!!”, Duff told fans on Instagram, adding moments later, “… now what do I wear?”

In a follow-up message, Duff, 38, reflected on what the tour means to her, saying, “The name says it all. I truly feel so lucky to be able to be onstage again in front of all of you beautiful people. I can’t wait! See you on the lucky me tour.”

The tour will travel through seven countries — the United States, Canada, Mexico, the UK, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia — launching in Florida on June 22 before continuing into early 2027.

Duff’s return to the stage comes alongside the release of her long-awaited new album, Luck… or Something, arriving February 20. It marks her first full album in more than a decade, following 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out.

Fans received their first preview of the new era last November with lead single Mature, which Duff described as a reflective look back on an earlier chapter of her life.

“This song is about a very brief romance that I had with an older guy,” she explained to Variety at the time, noting that Mature is like a conversation “talking to the past version of myself and looking back at that time with the maturity of a formed grown adult”.

“People have been following my career and having a connection, and I think I was just really ready to reintroduce myself to them,” she added.

Duff said the timing of her creative return felt deliberate.

“I never wanted to jump the gun and do something that didn’t totally feel right,” she said.

“This moment in time and the people that I’ve surrounded myself with, it felt really right.”
