Her next four shows in the US cities of Lincoln, Sioux Falls, Milwaukee, and Des Moines were postponed and are set to be rescheduled.

“Due to reasons beyond my control, we need to postpone our next four shows in Lincoln, Sioux Falls, Milwaukee, and Des Moines,” the Instagram statement said.

“I’m so disappointed to share this news, but we are working on rescheduling each of these shows as soon as we can.”

“Your tickets will still be valid for the new dates. Please keep an eye out for updates, we’ll have more info soon.”

Her post ended: “Thank you for your understanding. I’m looking forward to seeing you all very, very soon.”

Pink wraps up her epic Summer Carnival tour of Australia and New Zealand.

Upset fans slammed the move in their comments, while others defended the star.

“Listen Pink, as a lifelong fan, this is unacceptable. All that matters is what I want- you to perform for me,” one said.

“This is so disappointing Pink, why does she always do this??” a second said.

“She’s starting to get a reputation for cancelling shows,” added another.

However other fans were quick to rush to the singer’s defence: “I’d be disappointed too but whoa…calm down y’all. She’s a human and needs a moment”.

“Normalise celebrities not owing the public a damn thing,” another wrote.

The singer was given the snack to try out during her Melbourne concert.

“I’ve worked with her team before and this is crushing her and it is no easy decision,” one said.

“People need to stop judging her intentions and know if she had to postpone then there is a good reason. Show some grace.”

Pink’s shows are well known to be some of the most physically demanding, with live acrobatics between singing and dancing.

The singer, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore Hart, brought her tour to Australia earlier this year, bringing her ticket sales to 3.1 million across six tours down under.

She marked the occasion with an Instagram post featuring a framed artwork of promotional images from those shows, and a second picture of Pink beside a colourful Indigenous artwork, believed to have been given to the star as a gift.

“HUMBLE/NOT SO HUMBLE BRAG. I had a party to go to in my honour, thrown for me by my record company and (promoter) Michael Coppel and they said all kinds of nice things about me and it made me very uncomfortable and moved me to tears at the same time,” she captioned the post.

“So here are my feelings and some of the nice things.

“My feelings: AUSTRALIA — AND NEW ZEALAND…. I love you and I love it here.

“You get me, and you always have.

“We’ve grown up together over the last 20 years.

“And we’ve danced, laughed, screamed and cried together, too.

“You’ve always been there for me, but this week I learned just how great your support has been.”

Pink's Summer Carnival tour Down Under has come to an end.

Pink said she was also told the ticket sales for her current Summer Carnival Tour were the biggest for any tour by a female artist in Australia.

“Nobody else has ever played 20 stadium shows across Australia and New Zealand in a single tour, but we just did it together on the Summer Carnival Tour,” she said.

“We’ve sold over 3.1 million tickets during six tours here — that’s the most career ticket sales ever achieved by an international performer in Australia and New Zealand.

“I’m not often lost for words, but you really did it to me this week.”

“Your support is never lost on me and it’s a privilege to do this with you every day.

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

“Here’s to another 20 years together 💜.”
