Brooklyn Beckham has publicly accused his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, of controlling media narratives and attempting to sabotage his marriage to Nicola Peltz.

A submission sent to celebrity gossip account Deuxmoi in 2022 about an incident at Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding has resurfaced just hours after he dropped a bombshell statement about his parents.

Brooklyn Beckham broke his silence on the long-rumoured rift between himself and his famous parents, David and Victoria Beckham, taking to Instagram on Tuesday morning with a raw statement.

The 26-year-old claimed his parents have been trying to sabotage his marriage to Nicola for a long time, and described a pattern of David and Victoria prioritising “Brand Beckham” over family.

In his statement he referenced his 2022 wedding to Nicola, claiming his mother stole his first dance with Nicola.

“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife, but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead,” his statement read.

“She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone.

“I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”

As the statement circulated, celebrity gossip account Deuxmoi reshared an anonymous tip-off the account received during the Peltz-Beckham’s lavish Palm Beach wedding in April 2022.

The submission sheds more light on the scandalous wedding, alleging there was “noticeable tension” during the reception, and that Nicola left the room in tears following Marc Anthony’s speech.

“The speech was the most awkward thing as he did not mention Nicola of her family at all.

“He then dedicated a song to (Victoria Beckham) and Brooklyn which set Nicola off - literally ran out crying and her entire family went after her.

“When the mum and son dance ended, Brooklyn ran directly outside. They did not come back until the after party.”

The anonymous tip off also claimed members of the Beckham family had no interaction with Nicola’s relatives throughout the night of their wedding — allegations that spread widely online at the time but were never publicly addressed.

The anonymous user behind Deuxmoi claims Brooklyn’s statement now confirms the tip-off the account received is true.

According to Brooklyn, he had spent weeks preparing a romantic dance with his bride, only for the moment to be derailed.

Brooklyn also added that since the beginning of his relationship with Nicola, his family has always tried to “ruin” it, even claiming Victoria would invite other women into their lives.

“My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one.

“My mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable.”

The fresh statement has sparked divided reactions online, with one social media user saying, “both sounds sound insufferable,” while another praised Brooklyn for publicly standing by his wife.

“He’s going hard for his wife and I’m here for it,” the user wrote.

Neither David nor Victoria Beckham has publicly responded to Brooklyn’s claims.
