Deborra-Lee Furness breaks silence after ex-husband Hugh Jackman goes public with Sutton Foster
Deborra-Lee Furness has spoken out for the first time since her ex-husband Hugh Jackman went public with his new relationship.
The 69-year-old revealed she has stepped into the next stage of her life after a tumultuous few years, telling the Herald Sun that a move back to Australia could be on the cards.
“I’ve had a few offers for films back (in Australia) so I’m still reading some scripts so if there’s something that’s great,’’ she told the media outlet.

The Aussie actress said she and her daughter, Ava, love returning home to Melbourne for the food, culture, friends and family.
Furness’ optimistic chat comes just three weeks after Jackman, 56, was spotted holding hands with his Broadway co-star Sutton Foster, 49, confirming months of speculation about their secret romance.
The new couple looked loved-up as they dined together in California on January 6.
Just a week later, the pair made headlines again when they were pictured passionately making out in the carpark outside an LA In-N-Out.
Sources close to Furness revealed she was relieved when the couple went public, confirming her suspicions about their relationship.
“Deborra-Lee feels a sense of relief, to be honest with you,” a source told Daily Mail.
“She has been plagued with suspicions. She was told it wasn’t true, and that they were nothing more than close friends who worked together.
“But something in her heart told her that this was not true.
“She trusted her intuition and her intuition was right. She finally feels at ease after getting confirmation that her fears and suspicions were warranted.
“She can now fully close this chapter and move on.”
