Miley Cyrus has opened up on the idea of headlining next year’s Super Bowl after being the current favourite to perform the halftime show.
The 33-year-old pop star, who is gearing up for the release of her Hannah Montana 20th anniversary on March 24, said while performing for the huge spectacle watched by millions around the world seemed a bit scary, she could pull it off.
“I always think the Super Bowl feels like too much pressure,” she told Variety as the magazine’s cover star.

“But if I could find a way to make it exactly what the Hannahversary was — taking a journey through the discography and appreciating each song, each era for what it is — I think I could find it in myself.”

Cyrus also revealed she is “very interested” in returning to acting after her last screen role in a 2019 Black Mirror episode where she played a pop singer — obviously.
“I just haven’t found the right role for me,” she said.
“I’d want a character that felt like an extension of me. Or something completely different from who I am.”
However, fans are sure to be kept satisfied when the Hannah Montana anniversary special airs on Disney+ next week complete with hit songs This Is the Life, Best of Both Worlds and The Climb and nostalgic elements curated for the superfans.
There will be a cameo from fellow Disney child star Selena Gomez and Call Her Daddy podcast host Alex Cooper will interview Cyrus during the special that was filmed live in February.

Cyrus will also reunite with her dad Billy Ray Cyrus after falling out with him in 2022 and didn’t speak for two years. They eventually reconnected after she wrote a song for him called Secrets.
While Disney recreated the sets from the beloved TV show that ran from 2006 to 2011, Cyrus was adamant on not replicating Hannah’s blonde wig, instead dying her hair and styling it with bangs.
It comes after last year, when Cyrus got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, musician Maxx Morando.
