It would have been a milestone appearance for the Aussie mum of four.

Former Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr has snubbed a return to the iconic runway event that made her a household name two decades ago.

This year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which took place in Los Angeles on Sunday, featured some of the biggest names in international modelling, along with pop stars and cultural figures.

However, it did not feature the angelic Aussie mother of four.

Kerr became a Victoria’s Secret angel in 2007, clipping her wings in 2013 to focus on family and then-emerging skincare brand KORA Organics.

Ahead of the latest edition, Kerr, 43, revealed why she chose not to return 20 years after first appearing.

“20 years since my first Victoria’s Secret show 🪽 Looking back with so much gratitude for the friendships, the magical memories and for everyone who made that chapter of my life so special,” she shared to social media.

“It meant so much to be invited to return this year, especially as it marks 20 years since my first show . . . but I ultimately felt in my heart it was right to cherish this chapter as it was. Sending so much love and light to everyone in this year’s show! 💖🌈🧚‍♀️”

Kerr shares one son with actor and ex-husband Orlando Bloom, and three sons with Snapchat co-founder and current husband, Evan Spiegel.

She posted a short clip on her Instagram story pretending to walk the runway, captioned: “Now on my way to put my kids to bed.”

The Aussie’s words accompanied a carousel of images from her experiences modelling with the show, featuring returning models Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Alessanda Ambrosio, both of whom chose to grace the runway this year.

Other strutting stars included singer Tate McRae, Gigi and Bella Hadid, and Barbara Palvin, while Nicole Kidman watched on from the front row.

Kylie Jenner made a surprise debut in a glittering bra designed by Jacob & Co, worth an eye-watering $71.7 million, as proud boyfriend Timothee Chalamet and mother Kris Jenner cheered her on.

The garment featured 4410 natural diamonds surrounding a 75.54-carat radiant-cut fancy vivid yellow diamond, which alone is worth about $32 million.

It’s the first time a Fantasy Bra has featured in the show since 2018 — the last iteration before the event’s five-year hiatus.

Jenner’s sister Kendall, a VS model in 2015, 2016 and 2018, did not make an appearance.
