‘What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?’
Taylor Lautner and his wife, also named Taylor, have announced to the world that they are expecting their first child after four years as a married couple.
The 34-year-old actor, best known for playing Jacob in The Twilight Saga, and the registered nurse took to social media on Friday to share their happy news with their combined 12 million Instagram followers.
For the announcement, the couple posted a series of beautiful images of themselves frolicking in a field with Taylor kissing Tay’s growing baby bump while she held up ultrasound photos.

Fellow celebrities and fans flooded the comments section to congratulate the couple on their new addition to the family.
Twilight co-star Nikki Reed, who played Rosalie, said: “Oh my goodness🥹❤️ heart bursting. I love you guys. I can’t wait to watch your journey as parents unfold.”
Singer Natasha Perry said: “The best news ever ever ever!” and added “I’m smiling so big my cheeks hurt”.
E! News host Erin Lim Rhodes said: “YEZZZ!!! CONGRATS TAY AND TAY!!! Can’t wait to meet baby Tay!”
It comes after the couple got married on November 11, 2022, at Epoch Estate Wines in California, in front of about 100 friends and family, exactly one year after their engagement.
They met in 2018 after being introduced by Taylor’s sister, Makena Moore.
In the years since their wedding, the couple has started a podcast called The Squeeze, where they discuss mental health and wellbeing topics.
While working together can be difficult, the pair told People in December 2024 that they’ve had to figure out “when to stop talking about work” so they can keep that part of their lives separate from their downtime.
After Tay changed her surname, which used to be Dome, her husband spoke about the challenges of sharing the same name.
“Packages are becoming tough. We need to figure something out because when I’m buying stuff for her and she’s buying stuff for me, we’re going to have some surprised spoiled if we open the wrong Taylor Lautner package,” he told the Good Guys podcast.
“TSA they’ll be like ‘Which one of you is Taylor Lautner?’ And we’re like, ‘Both of us’. They’re like, meh, this seems fishy. We’re going to send you to security.”
