Princess Diana’s former hairdresser blasts ‘nasty’ trolls who have slammed Catherine’s new blonde look
The former hairdresser of Princess Diana has slammed “nasty” trolls who have questioned Princess Kate’s new blonde tresses, telling them to leave her alone.
Catherine, Princess of Wales, or Princess Kate as she is known to fans around the world, debuted her lighter hair at a church service in Balmoral late last month, alongside her family.
On Thursday, the royal star returned to her duties by appearing at the Natural History Museum in London, which she is patron, where her lighter hair was on full display for the world’s media.

However, Princess Diana’s former hairdresser Sam McKnight, detailed his shock at the nasty commentary.
“A woman’s hair is very personal to her. It’s armour, defence, confidence and so much more,” McKnight, who worked for Diana for seven years, wrote on Instagram.
“I cannot believe how evil and lacking in any kind of empathy are the comments, the majority made apparently by other women, attacking a vulnerable other young woman, who has no choice, by dint of who she married and the role she took on, to bravely face the public.
“I’m sure she would rather be away from the public arena. She has brilliantly and quietly, unselfishly represented our country, the soft power we still have as a nation.”
McKnight touched on Kate’s cancer story, saying the illness affects everyone differently but is “life-changing for everyone”.
“So, FFS leave her alone. Shame on you,” he concluded.

McKnight is well known in Hollywood and royal circles.
He’s worked with global chart-topper Lady Gaga and runway icon, Kate Moss.
He famously worked with Princess Diana prior to her meeting with the late nun and Catholic saint, Mother Teresa.
Despite the regal style causing a stir, the Princess of Wales appeared to be in good spirits during her visit to the museum.
However, herself and Prince William were forced inside due to an unexpected downpour.
The pair met with a number of schoolchildren at the event.
“The children were very excited,” assistant headteacher at Kender Primary School, Beverley Brown, told The Sun.
“We had been waiting for the session to start and as we started to move it started to pour and we didn’t know what to do.
