“It took some time for you to convince me that I can do this and I am glad that I did,” Levy said.

“It’s like following on from from Bradman, but I am going to give it a go and hope I can live up to the bar you have set,” he told Hadley on air.Hadley told his audience he has enjoyed watching Levy progress in his broadcasting career and is fully supportive of the choice for Levy to dive into his chair in 2025.

“I told you you would be a great (rugby) league caller and a great broadcaster,” Hadley told Levy.

“But it took me a long time to convince you that you could do it.

“Well you have done it and I think you are the perfect replacement for me and I am happy you are the choice.”
