The Disney Channel star went on to say she regretted partaking in the habit, particularly after it changed the sound of her voice.

“It’s so stupid and it’s changed my voice. So if you guys don’t like listening to my voice, that’s totally understandable,” she said.

“I don’t mind. Just don’t listen to it.

“I’m not going to be able to change my voice.”

Gomez warned her followers against vaping, saying “it’s just not worth it.”

In a positive update, Gomez said she had kicked the habit and was hopeful she could refrain from smoking.

“But I am really excited because I stopped [vaping] and I just hope I can keep it up,” Gomez added.

“It’s really hard, but I know if you are going through something, you can get through it too.”

Over the years, Gomez has also been open about her ongoing battle with lupus, an automimmune disease that occurs when the immune system attacks healthy tissue.

The celebrity revealed her diagnosis in 2015 after finding out in 2013 and has since spoken candidly about the impact the condition has had on her physical health and daily life.

In 2017, she she underwent a kidney transplant due to complications from lupus, with her close friend, Francia Raisa donating the kidney.
