Taylor Swift cuts off Blake Lively as she skips wedding to Travis Kelce
Shocking new details, including fresh photos and insider claims, suggest Blake Lively has been left firmly on the outer, as her once-close bond with Taylor Swift appears to unravel.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were notably absent from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s lavish New York City wedding, fuelling speculation the once-close friendship has come to an end.
The Hollywood couple were not invited to the star-studded ceremony at Madison Square Garden on July 3, with sources claiming Swift has moved on from the friendship.
“Taylor’s in a different place now and she just wants to be around people she trusts and who bring her peace,” a source told Page Six.

According to the report, the fallout wasn’t triggered by a single incident but rather “everything adding up” over time, with wedding planning marking a turning point in Swift’s decision about who she wanted in her inner circle.
The reported rift comes after months of distance between the pair, who were once frequently seen together at high-profile events and had been friends since 2015.
While Swift and Kelce celebrated their wedding alongside a long list of A-list guests, including Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson and close friends from across music, sport and Hollywood, Lively and Reynolds were elsewhere.
The couple spent the weekend in Lake Placid, New York, supporting their daughter Betty, who competed in a horse show and placed second, according to TMZ.
The breakdown in Swift and Lively’s friendship has been linked to a legal dispute involving Lively and actor-director Justin Baldoni, which previously dragged Swift into the spotlight. Court documents revealed private messages and briefly saw the singer issued a subpoena, though it was later withdrawn.
The legal saga is understood to have placed significant strain on the relationship, with the pair not seen together publicly since 2024. Lively was also absent from Swift’s recent bachelorette celebrations.
Swift and Kelce, both 36, tied the knot in a high-profile ceremony inside Madison Square Garden, marking one of the most talked-about celebrity weddings of the year.
