Seven Network has acquired the rights to broadcast I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here in 2025, bringing the global reality TV franchise to Australian screens.

Yvonne stunned viewers by leaving from Farmer Wants A Wife on Sunday night before farmer Jarrad could reveal his final choice — Brodie.

Speaking to 7NEWS.com.au after the rollercoaster finale, Yvonne insisted she left because their “values didn’t align”.

While Jarrad believed Yvonne walked away to protect herself from being dumped because she knew he was going to choose Brodie, the 31-year-old from Qld said that wasn’t the case.

Yvonne said she still believed the final decision could have gone either way.

“With the relationship him and I had, I think it could have worked,” Yvonne said.

“But the night before the finale, it all started coming to me.

“I was like, ‘Should I give it a chance or put my morals and values first?’

“I was leaning towards a decision but when I got there, in front of Jarrad, I felt like I’d already heard everything that I needed to hear.

“I knew everything I needed to know from his end.

“It was just a split decision, to leave, but this was my decision and I felt really confident afterwards.

“I felt terrible giving up on a chance to be with someone, but in that moment, I had to put myself first.

“Our values just didn’t align in the end.”

Yvonne said things changed after the black-tie dinner, where she felt “blindsided”.

“Jarrad just wasn’t answering questions openly and honestly,” Yvonne said.

Looking back, she struggled with his lack of communication and how the South Australian almond farmer handled key moments when she was looking for support.

After the black-tie dinner, Yvonne said spending some time alone helped her reflect on the bigger picture.

“I took off the rose-tinted glasses,” Yvonne said.

“I was just fed up with giving so much of myself and not getting that in return.”

So did she think Jarrad was guarding his emotions to protect himself from heartbreak, or was he playing a game?

“If I’m being honest, I’m not too sure if he was being guarded or just trying to put his best foot forward on a television show,” Yvonne said.

“But for me, he was a somewhat different person off camera — Jarrad was more bubbly and had more conversations when we weren’t recording.

“But then when you’re with him, in front of the camera, it felt more strategic.

“I was there to genuinely get to know someone — I opened up a lot about my family and past relationships.”

During the home visit, Jarrad faced tough questions from Yvonne’s friends and family, with her best friend believing he wasn’t the right person for her.

Yvonne said after making the effort to get to know Jarrad’s loved ones, she expected the same in return.

“Anyone would be, you know, a little bit nervous to meet family and friends,” Yvonne said.

“But I had just spent almost a month at your home, with your friends and family, being in your world.

“So you would think he’d want to put in the effort to ask them questions about me, get to know me a bit more.”

Yvonne said she has experienced difficult relationships in the past, making it even more important to know Jarrad was the right person for her.

She wanted to keep their final date light-hearted rather than making it too intense.

Despite not kissing on camera, Yvonne revealed the pair did share kisses and cuddles when the cameras weren’t rolling.

“But I walked away from that final date thinking, ‘He didn’t ask me a single question about my life — he didn’t ask me about the books in my rooms or the paintings I’d done’.

“I got to know you, and this was your one chance to get to know me.”

Yvonne said the black-tie event and their final date ultimately made her realise the relationship wasn’t right.

“What my family had to say didn’t totally influence my decision, but it contributed in the sense that it kind of solidified what I was feeling,” Yvonne said.

Yvonne also confirmed she hasn’t spoken to Jarrad since the moment she decided to leave.

“It would have been nice to discuss it, if he felt like he needed clarity, but I guess being as we don’t talk, he didn’t need that,” Yvonne said.

“We just went our separate ways like adults — we acknowledge that we’re not each other’s person and that’s it.”
