Bec Judd has revealed the cosmetic treatment mishap that left her looking like an “alien” while filming a television show.

The model and media personality has long been open about using anti-wrinkle injections to maintain her youthful appearance, but admitted one treatment didn’t go according to plan.

Speaking on a recent episode of her podcast VAIN-ish, the 43-year-old recalled an embarrassing experience where the injectable left her with a dramatic and unexpected look while she was on camera.

“I went full alien!” Judd admitted.

While chatting with guest dermatologist Dr Cara McDonald, the conversation turned to one of the most common anti-wrinkle injection mishaps known as “Spock Face”.

The term refers to an unwanted side effect of anti-wrinkle injections such as Botox, where the outer edges of the eyebrows arch excessively upward.

It creates a surprised or “alien” appearance reminiscent of the movie and TV character Mr Spock from Star Trek.

“Your inner brow above your nose, so that pushes down and then what would happen is when you would raise your eyebrows, the outer parts of your eyebrows go up so severely though that you look a bit like an alien,” Judd explained.

“Now this only happened to me once and I’ve been having anti-wrinkle injections for literally half my life.”

Judd said the incident occurred while she was filming a television show.

“It was so embarrassing because I had to interview people and react, right?” Judd said.

“So I’d be like, ‘Oh, tell us about how long you’ve had this restaurant for and what ingredients you used to cook this delicious meal?’

“And they’d be talking. And I’d try and raise my eyebrows and go, ‘Oh’. And every time I did, I went full alien.

“It was out of corners. It was ridiculous.”

Dermatologist McDonald added the look is also sometimes referred to as “Angry Birds”, named after the popular game character.

Judd’s co-host and close friend Jess Roberts then revealed she had experienced the same issue about a decade ago.

The candid admission comes after Judd addressed years of speculation surrounding the cosmetic procedures she has undergone.

Last year, the mother-of-four set the record straight on persistent rumours she had undergone a nose job, revealing instead she had surgery on her eyelids.

Speaking on VAIN-ish, the wife of former AFL legend Chris Judd confirmed she had undergone both upper and lower blepharoplasty procedures and even shared images from the surgery.

The cosmetic operations rejuvenate the eyelids by removing excess skin, fat or muscle.

Judd said she decided to discuss the procedures publicly because she is frequently asked about cosmetic work she may have had done.

“I haven’t had my nose done — it’s the thing I get accused of the most,” Judd confirmed.
