Met Gala 2025: Megan Thee Stallion breaks no phone rule inside prestigious New York event
Megan Thee Stallion has broken the Met Gala’s strict number one rule, threatening to expose secrets from New York’s most prestigious fashion event.
Guests are supposed to adhere to a no phones rule, but that didn’t stop the rapper who shared a video on her social media that showed her interacting with several fellow celebrities inside the gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
According to Vogue, the rule is described: “In short: It’s a secret. For this reason, guests must abide by the no phone (and therefore, no social media) policy”.

“Not at all – put your phone away,” Ross told her.
She also posed with Cynthia Erivo, telling her: “I snuck my phone inside. Peace!”
And in another video posted to her Instagram account, Stallion toasted an oeuvre d’oeuvres with rapper Doechii at a table inside the venue.

As for her red hair, she had it pulled back into an intricate ponytail, complete with jewels.
This year marks her third time at the event after she made her debut in 2021. Perhaps her brazen behaviour will make it her last?
