Gold Coast dietician turned entrepreneur and content creator Ellie Watson has quietly listed her dreamy Currumbin Valley hinterland home for sale.

In an unexpected move, 'The Valle Casa' - the beloved home of Ms Watson and her 652,000 Instagram followers - is now for sale.

The original intention in building the luxury minimalist acreage pad was as a forever home for the Watson family, including partner Alex, children Bowie and Zimi, and dog Oatie.

Ms Watson openly shared the journey of the build over the past three years on her social media, which meant the high-quality build garnered attention.

"While the Watsons were building, they were getting approached by so many agents and people on whether they would consider selling," said listing agent Amir Mian.

"They kept on saying 'no, we're not selling' because they wanted to enjoy living there; it was meant as their long-term home. But when an idea keeps getting thrown at you, it settles into your headspace - and they were bombarded by offers and requests.

"We eventually convinced them to let one buyer through, which ultimately led to them deciding to list it."

The property at 498 Currumbin Creek Road is for sale with Amir Prestige Group, with the auction date now set for 15 November on-site from 10am.

While officially only listed on Wednesday, Mr Mian said the property has already generated a lot of views and they've been fielding calls, with inspections for serious buyers already stacked up.

"Of course, the reality [that they'll be leaving] will sink in soon. But at the moment, they're in the excited emotions of selling," said Mr Mian.

"They're also very happy with how it has come together, and that they're going to give another family the keys to enjoy this fairytale home."

The Aussie Instagram star and founder of clothing and lifestyle labels Juni and The Wholesome Store has openly shared the process of building the family home from inspiration, design and build stages, to more recent interior selections.

It has become a familiar and constant fixture on Ms Watson's socials, and the sale has already stirred emotions for those close to the family.

"Oh my lord I'm gonna cry. Dream home," said Ms Watson's twin sister Lauren Bullen, of @gypsea_lust Instagram fame, on the listing's social post.

Designed by Luke Holmes and delivered by Arluca Construction, the home is an architectural statement set on 5,404 square metres in the lush Currumbin Valley.

"The feedback given from every prospective buyer that has gone through is 'we can't fault it'," said Mr Mian. This has included high-end builders that "always find something."

"It's very tranquil. It's peaceful. And it's designed on a rectangle-shaped block, so that all the bedrooms and living spaces are connected to the outdoors and everyone gets the view."

Both sculptural and serene, interior design is by Mi Zepp Studio and blends Ms Watson's three favourite design styles - contemporary Australian, Mediterranean, and mid-century modern - into a timeless aesthetic that embodies effortless Gold Coast living.

Enter via a charming porte-cochère-style security gate and up to the circular drive to be met with a stunning olive tree and property surrounded by native gums.

The oversized timber front door swings open to a statement travertine dining table positioned perfectly underneath a grand circular skylight, flooding the tonal space with natural light by day - a non-negotiable for the couple (in fact, there are skylights in almost every room) - and stars by night.

Ms Watson opted to nix the typical all-white Gold Coast palette and instead choose a soft limewash to create a sense of soothing warmth.

"We used @bauwerkcolour limewash paint throughout our home for walls and ceilings in shade 'Bone'. I love the texture it creates," she said on Instagram.

With an eye for design and a past as a certified dietician and nutritionist, the kitchen is a gourmet, functional masterpiece that takes inspiration from mid-century modern design.

Ms Watson selected Danish walnut cabinetry and brushed nickel ABI Interiors fixtures, contrasting beautifully against the soft beige of the limewash.

There's a butler's pantry and built-in wine fridge, but the kitchen's focal point is the huge Taj Mahal quartzite stone island.

In addition to the five bedrooms and three bathrooms, there's a media room (which followers will know from the many watch parties documented on Ms Watson's Instagram), living spaces grounded in microcement flooring, a triple car garage, Tesla charger and solar.

The three luxuriously appointed bathrooms are pared-back spaces kitted-out with travertine.

The main bath features Travertine Zena, filled and honed, alongside playful travertine feature tiles in cream and red.

A sophisticated private retreat, the master ensuite features sand travertine hybrid tiles, a floating travertine vanity with integrated stone sinks and ABI Interiors brushed nickel Milani Swivel Hob Mixer Set, alongside an elegant freestanding fluted concrete bath.

The exterior is equally showstopping.

Outdoors at The Valle Casa feels like stepping into an Australian-inspired Mediterranean resort, complete with lush landscaping, a chequered-detailed pool, fire pit, freestanding outdoor shower, and alfresco terrace with built-in barbecue, sink and drinks fridge.

The Watsons ensured there was ample backyard space for the kids to run around and play, and even installed a "dream" backyard swing from the property's largest tree.

Gardens have been planted with natives and wildflowers alongside tropical birch trees, bowling-green lawns, and sandstone boulders.

At the boundary, a creek and rainforest boardwalk deliver a rare and special connection to nature.

"It's literally a storybook," said Mr Mian.

"The backyard is just magical, you can hear the creek trickling by."

He said the other incredible aspect of the property is its location, one that offers a true best-of-both-worlds lifestyle.

"A lot of people love this acreage lifestyle, but they want to be close to the city and close to the beach," Mr Mian said.

"The Valle Casa is under 10 minutes to the beach and under seven minutes to the Currumbin rock pools. And from the M1 it's under five minutes since they put in the new exit access. It's hardly 15 minutes to the airport."

The property is open to offers, but is scheduled for auction on 15 November on site at 10am.
