Ward, 44, is currently imprisoned at the Hunter Correctional Centre, and is due to be sentenced on September 19.

Ward's legal battle has reportedly cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars.

In the meantime, he's listed his Meroo Meadow home, near Nowra, for sale. There isn't currently an advertised guide for the property.

The selling agent, Bianca McMillan from Integrity Real Estate Nowra declined to comment when contacted by the Mercury.

Built in 2007, according to records, and described as being "immaculately presented and thoughtfully designed", and a "true entertainer's delight" the home is located a short drive to the Princes Highway, and is within access of amenities, transport and shopping.

Cotality records show Ward bought the home in October 2011 for $450,000.

The four-bedroom home sits on 650 square metres. It features a sizeable study; a large central kitchen with gas cook top, electric oven, island bench with sink and stainless steel appliances; a large living and dining area; a separate family room, offering a place for formal dining, sports or rumpus; and a double lock-up garage with internal access.

Cotality records show Ward bought the home in October 2011 for $450,000. At the time, the home was sold after 26 days on the market.

According to Cotality, the median house value in Meroo Meadow is currently $1,077,297.

The MP faced a nine-week trial, which started in late May. He pleaded not guilty to sexual intercourse without consent and three counts of indecent assault.

On July 25, jurors handed down their unanimous verdict of guilty on all counts after deliberating for three days. The offence of rape carries a maximum penalty of 14 years' imprisonment.

Despite being charged with the offences in 2022, Ward was re-elected to the seat of Kiama in 2023.

Following his conviction, Ward has indicated he will appeal the jury's decision.

After a week spent fighting NSW Parliament's attempt to expel him, Ward resigned just 20 minutes before the expulsion motion was due to be put to the House.

Ward's resignation from parliament has also triggered a by-election in the state seat of Kiama.
