Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness relist penthouse with $14m price cut
The property now has the revised price guide of $43.3 million.

Australian stars and former couple Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness have re-listed their sprawling New York City penthouse with a substantial price reduction.
Originally listed for $57.5 million ($US38.9 million) in 2022, the property now has the revised price guide of $43.3 million ($US29.9 million), less than a year after the couple finalised their divorce.
The property first came to market in June 2022, a year before the couple announced their separation, but was taken off the market two months later.

It was then listed as a rental property with the exorbitant price of $180,000 ($US125,000) per month in September 2023.
The sprawling Perry Street penthouse occupies three floors of the luxurious building and features exceptional views across the Hudson River.

Called a "modernist masterpiece" in the listing, the property was designed by renowned architect Richard Meier.
Deborah Grubman from Corcoran holds the listing, which makes no mention of its celebrity owners but stated there were "very limited showings" at the time.

The penthouse features five bedrooms, five bathrooms and two powder rooms, a library, multiple living zones and home office.
A giant main bedroom occupies the top floor with a spacious dressing area, en suite bathroom, sauna and home gym.

Located on the middle level is a space called the "great room" with a sculptural staircase leading to the floor above, also on this floor is a kitchen with butler's pantry, dining room, wine storage space and second home office.
Property records indicate that the former couple still co-own the property despite their divorce.

Mr Jackman has since announced his new relationship with The Music Man co-star Sutton Foster, with the pair reported to be living in the penthouse together.
Last year, New Idea revealed that the couple were living in the apartment while looking for the "perfect family home" together.

A source told the publication that Ms Foster was reluctant to live in the home he'd shared with his former wife: "Sutton is still nervous about taking that big step into Hugh's world."
Sky News later reported that Ms Furness was "shattered" that the new couple were sharing the penthouse.

"Deb is shattered knowing Sutton is making the penthouse her own - the place she poured her soul into," a source told the news site.
As part of the divorce agreement, remaining properties in their portfolio were split between the former couple.

This included a second penthouse apartment located on Eleventh Avenue, which was purchased for $30.5 million ($US21.12 million) in 2022.
