The residence of the two Channel 7 presenters will be auctioned on February 22.

CoreLogic records show Albone and Love paid $2.355 million for the original red brick semi-detached home in 2019.

Two years later, the couple embarked on a major overhaul of the property, including creating an award-winning garden.

With Love’s eye for interior design, the property has transformed into a modern, coastal-inspired residence with imported materials, fixtures, and bespoke joinery.

The couple posted on Instagram, “We’ve spent the past four years designing and perfecting this house, and now it’s for sale so you can enjoy it too!”

“A healthy home is really important to us, so we’ve added a whole house water filter, magnesium pool, and a beautiful [award winning!] garden in which to relax.”

The listing describes the property as offering “a delicate eye for finer details define every square metre of the home in which luxury and relaxation for the whole family have been prioritised above all else”.

At the heart of the home is a gourmet kitchen with a marble splashback, Nicolazzi brass tapware, an integrated fridge, and an integrated dishwasher.

Each bedroom has a built-in robe, and the elegant bathrooms are fitted with brass fixtures.

The renovation included the addition of an in-ground swimming pool surrounded by lush landscaped gardens designed by Albone.

His work in the garden earned a win for Sydney’s best residential project under 200 square metres last year.

Albone and Love, who share two sons, sold their sprawling acreage in Ourimbah, on the NSW Central Coast, early last year for $2.2m.

The sale price fell below initial hopes of $3 million to $3.2 million when the four-bedroom, three-bathroom property hit the market in February 2024.

It was relisted in March with a revised price guide of $2.45 million to $2.65 million.

In 2012, the couple paid $840,000 for the country retreat, which included five paddocks, stables and a separate self-contained studio.

The property had pristine gardens with sculptured hedges, towering palms, mature trees and a vine-covered alcove.

The couple also revealed they have already started a new renovation project, which “we’re so excited about and will be sharing more of soon”.
