NSW real estate: Inside TV presenter Sam Armytage’s property portfolio
Last week, we broke the news that television presenter Samantha Armytage’s South Coast beach house had been withdrawn from the market.
The news came on the same day that the former The Farmer Wants a Wife host confirmed her split from her husband of four years, Richard Lavender.
Armytage, set to host The Golden Bachelor on Nine, has established an impressive property portfolio.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom, original 1960s-built home sits on 1949 square metres, and featured timber cladding and a tile roof.
It was reportedly the first time the property had changed hands since the 1960s.
CoreLogic records show the home was sold after 24 days on the market.
The renovation project has reportedly neared completion, with the now modernised home having new roofing.
It’s a short drive from the Berrima farm Armytage shared with Lavender.
CoreLogic records also show that in 2020, Armytage sold her Burrawang weekender for $3.1 million, having bought it in 2017 for $2.2 million.
In 2020, Armytage sold her three-bedroom North Bondi home for $3.15 million. She had bought the house in 2014 for $2.15 million.
“Designed to celebrate the allure of beachside living, this private freestanding home is embraced by lush tropical gardens affording a sense of peace and privacy that’s hard to find in this prized pocket of North Bondi,” the marketing said.
Armytage also purchased a two-bedroom investment apartment at Rushcutters Bay for $1.575 million in 2021.
Meanwhile, Armytage first listed her holiday home at Hyams Beach last December.
Located on a pristine stretch of coastline right between Hyams Beach and Chinamans Beach, it had been listed with a price guide of $3.2 million.
However, the property’s listing was recently removed from online platforms, and CoreLogic records no longer list the home as being for sale.
The three-bedroom house boasts views of Jervis Bay and sits on 658 square metres.
It also features two bathrooms, a light-filled kitchen, a front deck, and large, double living areas. The large double lock-up garage, which already has undercover, carport-style parking, could be converted into a studio, games room, or sleep-out.
It has been utilised as a private weekender and holiday rental property, commanding a nightly rate of $1200.
CoreLogic records show the television host bought the home in 2018 for $1.765 million.
