And if that wasn't enough to sell you on it, there's the added advantage of being in the town next to Zac Efron's sustainable hemp home.
1110 Urliup Road has a price guide of $3.2 million to $3.5 million, with the sale being managed by agents Mark Ronan and Charles Milburn from Amir Prestige Group Byron Bay

According to the listing, the property is known for its "rare ability to deliver complete immersion in nature with absolute privacy," and an "atmosphere that feels a world away from the everyday."
"That same magic remains today, ready to be rediscovered, reinvented or simply enjoyed as your own tranquil escape."

There are several dwellings located on the expansive site, including a main residence, as well as three standalone villas - named Mountain View, Waterfall and Fountain.
The main residence is located on one of the highest points of the estate, allowing for exceptional valley views and glimpses of the Kingscliff ocean horizon.

The home features four bedrooms, including a spacious master suite with private ensuite and balcony, two additional bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, living and dining room.
Multiple balconies and patios create a seamless integration between indoor and outdoor living, and allow residents to completely immerse themselves in nature.

The three one-bedroom villas all offer slightly distinct floorplans with the largest being the Mountain View villa, which has a spa bath and private deck and porch.
Also on the grounds is a tranquil lagoon with waterfall, palm groves, rainforest pockets, open grassy clearings, and multiple walking tracks.

The property is approximately a nine-minute drive to Murwillumbah, 28 minutes to Kingscliff's coastline and 30 minutes to the Coolangatta Airport.
The star next door

Just next door in the town of Tomewin, Hollywood actor Zac Efron purchased a 128 hectare plot for $2 million.
It has since been revealed that TheIron Claw star has teamed up with environmental activist and designer Joost Bakker to design his sustainable Australian home in the regional spot.
Efron came to Australia initially during the shooting of action-thriller Gold and fell in love with the Byron Bay area.
In 2021, he sold his Los Angeles home and made the move permanent, a source told People: "As of now, he has no plans to live permanently in LA again. He loves Australia and considers it his home."
In an Instagram post in November 2025, Bakker revealed that for the past year he has been experimenting with hemp and oyster shells to create blocks as a more environmentally-friendly material than concrete.
"We are using the most cutting edge technology (invented by the Romans 2000+ years ago)," the designer wrote. "I want to create a building material that I hope will become mainstream one day.
"A material that naturally breathes, is anti mould, naturally fire resistant and improves the indoor air Zac will ultimately breathe."
