On Monday, Gold Coast reporter Tamra Bow appeared on Sunrise to discuss the sale.
“You will soon be able to hop a direct flight between the Gold Coast and Hamilton and Gold Coast and Dunedin in New Zealand for less than $200,” Bow said.
“It is also great news for the Gold Coast as it makes us the most connected airport to New Zealand in Australia, with Jetstar announcing 115,000 additional seats between the two countries.
“To celebrate the route launch they have launched a quick 24-hour sale with tickets up for grabs from 10am this morning.
“You will be able to grab a ticket between the Gold Coast and Hamilton for $155, Gold Coast to Dunedin for $169, or you can fly Sydney to Hamilton for $159 there as well.
“But be warned it is only for 24 hours, and you will have to wait until 2025, the flights don’t take off between Gold Coast and New Zealand until June next year.”
