Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Australia slash prices on national and international flights in Black Friday sales

Two of our major Aussie airlines are knocking hundreds of dollars off domestic flights and routes to Bali, Singapore, and the USA.

Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Australia are slashing prices as they jump on the Black Friday and Cyber Monday bandwagon, with heavily discounted flights to major national and international destinations on offer.

Jetstar is offering up its “Return for Free” sale, offering $0 for the second leg of more than 90,000 flights for 72 hours, both nationally and internationally.

Jetstar’s domestic deals include Sydney to Ballina for only $42 return, Adelaide to Melbourne for just $49, and Sydney to Cairns for $108.

International deals in the Jetstar sale include $149 return fares from Perth to Singapore and Brisbane to Tokyo for just $373.

All sale fares are available a day early for Club Jetstar members, from midday on Thursday.

Qantas is also cutting fare prices for Black Friday, offering 33 international routes from as low as $519 for Perth to Singapore return.

Among a range of discounted Qantas domestic flights is Sydney to Byron Bay for $99.

Virgin Australia’s Black Friday sale includes airfares starting at $49 for Sydney to Byron, and $69 for Launceston to Melbourne.

There are also deals to be found with long-haul carriers such as Qatar Airlines, which is offering 20 per cent off flights until December 2.
