Two Australians become multi-millionaires after winning more than $2 million in Saturday Lotto
Two Australians will be celebrating extra hard this weekend after winning a whopping amount in Saturday night’s Lotto draw.
The owners of the winning tickets — sold in NSW and Victoria — will share in the $5 million jackpot, pocketing $2,461,079.86 each.
Another 51, including 13 West Aussies, won division two prizes, taking home a cool $11,917.15 each.

The new millionaires aren’t the only people celebrating their new fortune.
One Aussie became $20 million richer after winning Thursday night’s entire division one Lotto prize.
The NSW woman originally thought she had only won $20,000 and broke down when she realised what she had actually won.
“I looked at it and then ran to my family and said, ‘I’ve won $20,000!’,” the Gladstone resident told officials from The Lott.
“They looked at it and then looked at me and said, ‘No you haven’t. You’ve won $20 million!’”.
She now plans to travel the world and use her winnings to buy a property.
