Australia’s fastest-growing news brand has hit another significant milestone, with The Nightly’s flagship podcast, The Nightly Five, celebrating its 100th episode on Tuesday.

The daily podcast, hosted by senior reporter Ben O’Shea, takes listeners on a deep dive into five of The Nightly’s biggest stories of the day by speaking to reporters and leading experts.

Hitting the century mark comes as The Nightly’s audience surged for a third consecutive month.

Industry-audited IPSOS iris figures for June show an extraordinary 24 per cent leap in audience for thenightly.com.au, with its unique monthly audience now at 2.3 million readers.

The audience has grown a remarkable 163 per cent since its first IPSOS iris-recorded month of March. From an audience of zero at launch, The Nightly last month also recorded 4.99 million page views.

Since its launch in February, The Nightly Five pod has played a key role in establishing The Nightly’s reputation as an impactful voice in national affairs.
