Controversial former One Nation MP Craig Kelly has announced his return to politics after joining the Libertarian Party in New South Wales.

Mr Kelly took to the airwaves on 2GB’s morning program with Ben Fordham and said he will be having another tilt at politics in the hope of landing a seat in Federal parliament.

Craig Kelly has formerly been a member of the Liberal Party, ran as an Independent, joined Clive Palmer’s United Australian Party and famously joined forces with Pauline Hanson’s One Nation Party.

“I believe in smaller government and entrepreneurial endeavours and the Libertarian Party shares those values,” Mr Kelly told Fordham.

“I have the greatest respect for Pauline Hanson and everything she has done in Australian politics and I wish her all the best, but the Libertarian Party is now who I will be working with.”

More to come.
