Donald Trump Jr. has delivered a rousing speech at the Republican National Conference in front of his father and an adoring crowd, espousing the newly built alliance between Donald Trump Sr and his vice presidential running mate JD Vance.

Trump Jr took to the podium in Milwaukee and compared his father to some of the great United States patriots including Teddy Roosevelt and spoke of the American public’s ‘dire’ choice at the upcoming election in November.

‘’My father knew he had to run if he was any chance of saving America,’’ Trump Jr said.

‘’He’s doing it for everyone here tonight and everyone watching at home.

‘’No matter who you are you can be a part of this movement to Make America Great Again,’’ Trump Jr added.

Moments before JD Vance was due to take the stage to deliver his first speech as Republican vice presidential candidate, Trump Jr made comparisons between his upbringing and that of Vance.

‘’Look at me and look at JD Vance,’’ Trump Jr said.

‘’Both grew up on other sides of the fence, but now both fighting to Make America Great again. He will make one hell of a Vice President.’’

Cheers rang out at Trump Jr’s mention of revered Republican leader and US President Theodore Roosevelt: ‘’Teddy Roosevelt’s legacy is named Donald J Trump.’’

‘’If you love this country from the bottom of your heart you must re-elect my father Donald J Trump.

‘’Together we will make America Great once again,’’ Trump Jr. concluded.
