Pauline Hanson’s One Nation climbs in Newspoll as Anthony Albanese’s Labor hits equal lowest vote since 2022
Labor’s primary vote has slumped to its equal lowest point since winning government, as One Nation won back support to draw level in the latest Newspoll.
Pauline Hanson’s One Nation party has clawed back support in the latest Newspoll, while Labor’s primary vote is at its equal lowest level since Anthony Albanese won the 2022 election.
An exclusive Newspoll conducted for The Australian between Monday and Thursday last week revealed core support for Labor fell from 33 per cent to 30 per cent.
But One Nation, which dropped two points from a record high 31 per cent primary vote to 29 per cent in June, recovered to join Labor at 30 per cent.

Senator Hanson has become embroiled in controversy since landing in the UK earlier this month, from her controversial comments on the end of the White Australia policy on a podcast with far-right British activist Tommy Robinson to being spotted at an Italian resort with Australia’s richest person Gina Rinehart.
However, the latest Newspoll published on Monday showed One Nation and the Coalition had pulled back support despite political brawling between the conservative parties.
Meanwhile, Labor – which will hold its national summit later this week – is now at it’s
lowest point since the Gillard government polled between 26 and 30 per cent.
