Elon Musk wields chainsaw at CPAC after President Javier Milei gifts item used in 2023 Argentina election

DOGE head Elon Musk has wielded a chainsaw on stage after being gifted the item by the President of Argentina, claiming it was “the chainsaw for bureaucracy”.
The Tesla, Space X and X social media platform owner wore sunglasses inside at CPAC as he was handed a chainsaw from Argentinian President Javier Milei.
Mr Musk made noises to imitate a live chainsaw, before screaming “this is the chainsaw for bureaucracy”.

The chainsaw was used by Mr Milei during his 2023 presidential campaign to symbolise his proposals to shred the bloated Argentine state.
The red chainsaw swung by Musk, who was wearing his trademark black “Make America Great Again” hat, was engraved with Milei’s slogan, “Viva la libertad, carajo”, which is Spanish for “Long live liberty, damn it”.
Mr Musk sat down for an inteview after the bizarre chainsaw moment, going on to talk about Ukraine, Russia and the Left wanting to make comedy “illegal”.
“People say I’m a bought asset of Putin,” Mr Musk said.
“I’m like, he can’t afford me.”
