A missing college student from the US has been found dead after studying abroad.
James Gracey, 20, disappeared in Barcelona on March 17 after a night out with friends at popular beachside club Shoko.
Gracey’s mother wrote a since deleted Facebook post to explain details around her missing son, claiming that he was last spotted with his friend at a club around 3am.

CCTV footage reportedly shows Mr Gracey leaving the venue with another individual, according to Spanish outlet El Periodico, citing local police.
Two days later, on March 19, his body was found in the water at Somorrostro Beach, with authorities confirming the discovery.
Earlier, local police had located Mr Gracey’s wallet in the water near the beach, prompting a search of the area.
Detectives cordoned off part of Somorrostro Beach as they searched for the missing student.
The family of the college student told People how loved their son was and how devastated they were by the news of his death.
“We are profoundly grateful for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers from people around the world,” they said.
The family also thanked local authorities and the US Embassy for their efforts.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death are ongoing, with the family seeking answers to better understand the tragedy.
