“Hmm... Something seems to have gone wrong,” an error response on ChatGPT said when users issued a prompt.

On OpenAI’s live status page said: “We have identified that uses are experiencing elevated errors for the impacted services. We are working on implementing a mitigation.”

It appears the outage is only impacting some users, mainly across ChatGPT and APIs.

Sora, the company’s AI text-to-video model, appears unaffected.
