Social media giant Facebook is experiencing a global outage, with users worldwide unable to access the site.
Social media giant Meta is suffering a global outage, with users worldwide reporting they are unable to access Facebook and Instragram.
In Australia, popular outage website Down Detector recorded thousands of users saying they were unable to access Facebook. The number of recorder users unable to access the platform was higher in the UK and US.
Results were similar for Meta owned Instagram.

Meta’s business suite has also reported issues for WhatsApp.
The company has not yet commented on the global outage.
