“Our technical teams are working to resolve an issue causing disruption to fixed broadband services for our customers,” TPG wrote on X.

“We will keep customers up to date on our progress towards restoring services and apologise for the inconvenience.”

Outraged customers took to X to give the internet provider a piece of their mind.

“That took you 2 hours to communicate? Pathetic,” wrote one.

“I could help you with your clearly inadequate crisis management setup... It’s really not that hard.”

“I expect free wifi for a year in compensation,’ another said.

“Might have been a bit easier if you told everyone as soon as it happened,” a third said.
