AFL player charged with rape and other serious sexual offences in Geelong area
An AFL player has been charged with rape and other serious sexual offences, according to reports out of Victoria.
Police have confirmed the man was charged with two counts of sexual assault, one count of rape and one count of sexual assault by compelling sexual touching.
The player’s name cannot be identified for legal reasons, but the alleged offending took place in the Geelong region, according to The Herald Sun.

The man is set to return to court later this year.
A second man was also charged over the same alleged incident with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault by compelling sexual touching.
