Adelaide Crows star Wayne Milera has revealed his new-born baby is in neonatal intensive care after arriving prematurely on July 6.

Milera missed last week’s game against the Western Bulldogs following the early birth, but will be back in action on Sunday for the blockbuster clash at Adelaide Oval against Gold Coast.

On Thursday, Milera’s absence for the Dogs clash became clear, as he and wife Nina explained the situation surrounding their “beautiful boy”, Stanley Richie Wayne Milera.

“We can’t wait for you to meet our little Stanley.”

The couple shared a picture of Stanley, who already had some nice hair and looked peaceful.

He was wrapped tightly in a knitted, blue blanket.

Fans were quick to rally around the footy star, who is enjoying a return to form following some injury-cursed years.

“Congratulations on you’re baby boy ❤️ I hope you’re doing well mumma. It’s so horrible leaving the hospital without your baby, trust me, I know! Stay strong x,” one fan wrote.

And another: “Awww gorgeous! Get nice and strong Stanley 🙏🏻.”

And another: “May he be blessed with a long and healthy life.”

And another: “Very cute. Congratulations. Hopefully home soon.”

And another another: “All the best Milera family. Keep on keeping on little champ.”

While another said: “Praying for a long and healthy life.”

Milera and Nina married in 2023.

Their first born, Carter Andrew Wayne Milera, arrived in March, 2021.
