AFL premiership hero Daniel Rioli announces engagement to social media sensation Paris Lawrence
Richmond premiership player Daniel Rioli has announced his engagement to TikTok influencer Paris Lawrence.
The AFL star posted photos from a picturesque setting near the peak of a snowy mountain in Queenstown, New Zealand where he got down on one knee to propose.
“FOREVER,” he wrote.

Rioli pulled out all the stops for the special moment, even hiring a helicopter to get to the secluded location during his club’s bye this weekend.
Tayla Broad, wife of Rioli’s teammate Nathan Broad, was among those to offer her congratulations.
“Oh my god!!!! How gorgeous. Congrats guys ❤️ soak up all the love,” she said.
Current teammates Tim Taranto, Hugo Ralphsmith, Jack Ross, Tom Lynch, Jayden Short, Shai Bolton, Josh Gibcus, Judson Clarke, Rhyan Mansell, Tyler Sonsie and Noah Cumberland all commented with their love, while former teammates Mabior Chol, Oleg Markov and Trent Cotchin also chimed in.
Rioli previously dated social media influencer Mia Fevola, the daughter of Carlton legend Brendan Fevola, before their split in 2020.
The Tigers defender has played 174 games since his debut in 2016 and has been among the club’s most consistent performers in all 14 games this year, averaging 21 disposals.
As well as her massive presence on social media, with almost 900,000 followers on TikTok and 36,000 on Instagram, Lawrence is also a DJ.
She also posted on social media after Rioli’s stunning proposal.
“My best friend and I are getting married,” she wrote.
“(I) instantly cried. Whenever I look at this particular pic I cry again.
“In our love bubble. God I love him.”
