How to watch week 1 of the finals

The AFL finals series kicks off tonight Thursday when Port Adelaide host Geelong in a qualifying final at Adelaide Oval.

The coverage starts at 7pm AEST and will be live and free across the screens of Seven.

On Friday Night Footy, 7AFL will take viewers live to a 100,000 strong crowd at the MCG, when two of the competition’s most in-form sides – Hawthorn and the Western Bulldogs – meet for a do-or-die elimination final, from 7pm AEST.

On Saturday, footy fans will enjoy an epic double-header featuring the Sydney Swans and GWS GIANTS in the first qualifying final at the SCG from 2.30pm AEST.

Then, on Saturday night we head to the Gabba for another elimination final when the Brisbane Lions host Carlton.

Football’s No.1 commentary team will lead Seven’s finals coverage, with this weekend’s line-up boasting a group of some of the game’s greatest finals players ever.
