Collingwood superstar Nick Daicos has been put on a modified training program due to a foot injury.

7NEWS chief AFL reporter Mitch Cleary revealed the 22-year-old is dealing with plantar fasciitis and was reduced to riding the stationary bike at training on Friday.

“It’ll be one to watch and see how he recovers in the coming weeks,” Cleary added.

The injury revelation comes less than two months before the Magpies’ first game of the AFL season.

Daicos watched on during a physical session that was highlighted by a bit of a push and shove between Dan McStay and Tom Jiath, which you can see in the video player at the top of the page.
