The AFL is aware that Geelong youngster Tanner Bruhn has been interviewed over an alleged sexual assault.

Tanner Bruhn was quizzed by police over his knowledge of an alleged incident that occurred in Geelong on February 5, 2023.

The midfielder attended Geelong police station last Thursday, where he spoke with members of the sexual offences and child abuse investigation team.

Bruhn was not arrested and was free to leave after the interview.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the AFL told 7NEWS: “As it is a Victoria Police investigation, we are not in a position to make any further comment at this time”.

Geelong has been contacted for comment.

Bruhn has played 36 games for the Cats since being traded from GWS at the end of 2022.
