Jagga Smith: Carlton Blues’ top pick ruptures ACL, will miss entire first season, out of practice match

Carlton’s top draft pick Jagga Smith has ruptured his ACL and is set to miss his entire first season.
Smith hurt his knee in what appeared to be an innocuous incident during Saturday’s practice match against St Kilda, but scans on Sunday have revealed a tear.
The teenager had impressed in his first game for the Blues against opposition and the injury blow comes just weeks before he was a good chance to debut for the Blues.
