Lachie Neale and girlfriend Emma Field share loved-up post at Brisbane Lions awards
The AFL star and Emma Field have shared a loved-up message after months of intense scrutiny.
Lachie Neale and girlfriend Emma Field have made another major public statement about their relationship, sharing a loved-up appearance at the Brisbane Lions’ end-of-season awards night.
The couple stepped out together for the Lions’ 2026 Club Champion dinner on Thursday night, less than a week after celebrating Brisbane’s grand final triumph.
Field later shared a photo of the pair from the black-tie event to her Instagram Stories of the couple sitting close together, with Neale wrapping his arm around Field as she placed her hand on Neale’s leg.

The 29-year-old wore a black gown that plunged down the chest, while Neale, 33, wore his official Lions suit and tie along with his club medal.
The public display comes after the couple have become increasingly open about their romance following months of intense scrutiny surrounding Neale’s private life.
Field was front and centre during Brisbane’s grand final celebrations last weekend, watching from the stands in a custom leather jacket emblazoned with “NEALE 9”.
She later joined Neale in the celebrations after the Lions secured the premiership.

Their awards-night appearance is the latest sign the pair are no longer keeping their relationship out of the spotlight after initially maintaining a relatively low profile.
Field shared a series of photos on Wednesday documenting a “very fun couple of weeks”, with Neale to leave a public message in the comments revealing his nickname for his girlfriend.
“Effy x,” he wrote.
Neale’s new relationship comes after his highly publicised split from wife Jules Neale in late 2025.
Jules moved back to Perth with the former couple’s children following their separation and publicly accused the AFL star of betraying her “in the most unimaginable way”.
Subsequent allegations centred on an affair involving Tess Crosley, who was a close friend of Jules and is married to Neale’s friend Ben Crosley.

Both women later spoke publicly about the fallout in separate podcast appearances.
Jules revealed in August that she had discovered Neale had been having what she described as an ongoing four-month affair with her close friend Tess Crosley.
“I found out through one of the other partners at the club,” she told the Pretty Sure podcast.
“I guess it was an ongoing, four-month affair with my best friend, behind my back.

“It’s the worst feeling in the world, because you’re like, you just question everything.”
Crosley later broke her silence on the scandal in an interview on Daily Mail’s podcast The Debrief.
“I have made some bad decisions I deeply regret, but I believe that I’m not a bad person,” Crosley said.
Neale previously publicly apologised for his actions amid the breakdown of his marriage.

“I have let my family down, and I apologise for my actions that have let down those that are closest to me,” he said.
Neale and Field initially kept their relationship largely out of the public eye before becoming increasingly comfortable sharing glimpses of their life together.
Field, an advertising professional from Queensland, had maintained a relatively low public profile before her relationship with the two-time Brownlow medallist became public.
Thursday night’s loved-up display wrapped up a dramatic season for Neale both on and off the field.
